Each hard gelatin capsule contains
- ITRACONAZOLE is a triazole antifungal agent.
- ADVANTAGE OVER FLUCANAZOLE-Itraconazole has a broader spectrum of activity than fluconazole
- In particular, it is active against Aspergillus, which fluconazole is not.
Indication
- Blastomycosis
- Histoplasmosis
- Sporotrichosis
- Onchomycosis
- Systemic infections like aspergillosis candidiasis and cryptococosis where other antifungal drugs are ineffective.
