  • Inhibits the bacterial cell wall synthesis
  • Bactericidal with both gram +ve & gram-ve coverage
Clavulanic Acid
  • Irreversibly inhibits ß-lactamase enzyme thus making bacteria vulnerable to Amoxycillin
